Good bye January and don’t let the door hit you on the way out! What a month. I feel like I need to sleep a month to recover from the month. It’s rather amazing that I got one project done at all. But I did, just in time for the fiber art show at the Northville Art House. The opening is this Friday and should be cool. As long as the snow storms stay away and my niece shows up for babysitting we should have a good time.

Some of the last minute prep for the show involved me taking over several rooms of the house, after the boys went to bed. Lots of gluing, various cans and books for weighting things down until the glues dry. Just to give you an idea…

So here’s the piece I finished for the show. It’s called Imperfections because the doily has ripped holes, the stamps are somewhat random, the beads aren’t perfect and the doily itself isn’t even perfectly round.
